Trying an unfamiliar transit service is easier when there is a chance to ask how it works before the first trip. Saratoga Springs’ community calendar lists a UTA On Demand virtual training session for Monday, October 19, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The city says UTA’s Travel Training team will introduce the service, explain how to use it and help participants understand the steps for a ride. This is a Zoom session, with registration through the link on the city’s dated event listing. It is not an in-person meeting at City Hall.

Before joining, think about the trip you would like to make and the questions that could affect it: service boundaries, operating times, booking, fares, pickup arrangements or accessibility. Ask the training team to explain the current rules rather than assuming the service works like a fixed-route bus or any particular commercial rideshare.
Keep the official UTA information link for later reference and allow time to test any needed technology before your first intended journey. The value of the session is a clearer understanding of whether the service fits a real trip in your week, with enough information to plan that trip confidently.
